are we dead? |

After a week at the C&MA General Council in Sacramento, we left
California at 11:30 at night, made several transfers, and finally
arrived in Pennsylvania the next morning. As we stood in baggage claim,
suddenly Eryn woke up, sat up, and asked, “Mommy. Are we dead?” WHAT
goes on in the mind of a 2-year-old?!
We are NOT dead, but some of you may have wondered, since we have not
written in so long. Not dead, but heads spinning. Lots has been
happening. Recently:
*We found out we are expecting (a baby, that is): Early November.
(Praise!)
*Evangeline developed some complications with the pregnancy. (Prayer Request)
*We scurried around in May, packing everything to ship to Japan,
planning to move out June 15.
*At Council last week, it was decided that we should remain in America
until the baby is born.
*We returned home this week to re-pack for a summer ministry at Beulah
Beach camp.
We would appreciate prayer for the health of Evangeline and the baby, and for
an effective ministry at Missionaries-in-residence at Beulah Beach Camp
(Ohio) this summer. We will have opportunity to speak to young people
several times a day for the next 2 months. Please pray that God will use
us to raise up laborers for His Harvest, both here and abroad. We would
also appreciate prayer for the Sengendai church in Japan which will be
without pastor or missionary for the fall because of our delayed return.
Hope you are having a wonderful start to your summer!
